I am going through the photos on my memory card and organizing them since we have a new computer. This is the first picture on my memory card and it makes me smile every time I see it. It's from Jim's 40th birthday, 10 days after our first date. I knew he was capturing my heart and I didn't hesitate to drive down to Birmingham to be with him on his 40th. This was the first picture we ever took together. I can't believe the journey God has had us on since then! Could either of us have dared to dream two years ago that we'd be married and expecting twins in a few months, very close to the 2nd anniversary of this photo? It's hard to fathom at times and I can't thank God enough for each blessing upon blessing.

Two Cribs and Two VERY Handsome Boys!!!
We had our 20 week OB complete ultrasound today and all still looks great. The boys are moving around a lot and changing positions constantly, Baby B is now head up, vs. a week ago when he was head down! They both still are measuring the same, 11 oz. each, which has been a huge prayer of mine the whole time, that one wouldn't lag behind the other. My boys are almost a pound each! By the end of the ultrasound, they had both flipped to their tummies! I think I'm going to have very active, squirmy boys. I'll know that for sure as they get bigger and I feel EVERY move. I am feeling them more and more and Jim has finally been able to feel, too. Oh, and they're definitely still boys!!!

Both of our handsome boys
We put two cribs together yesterday and re-organized some things and the closets a bit. We've ordered a bookcase and dresser for their room that should be in this week. I'm going to look for fabric tomorrow to try and make their bedding. It's beginning to come together!
WOW, never thought I'd need 2 at one time!

Well-Dressed Boys
I've been shopping (of course, isn't that what moms do?) for winter clothes for next winter for the boys. Let me just tell you that these are going to be the most handsome boys EVER!!! Check these out.

These arrived from Gap today. I'm seeing a Christmas picture for next year in the red cable knit outfit!
And how precious is that cow romper?!?!?!
Cute stuff that I had hangers for and could hang in their closet. Most of the teeny things are gowns, trying to make this a little simpler in the beginning!
More things piled on the guest bed (this will be their room and we'll move the bed to the front room). You can also see "The Hungry Caterpillar and "The Foolish Tortoise" plush toys that are so adorable. They have the books now, too. Kohl's Cares is FABULOUS, by the way.
I've already warned Jim that I have this shirt and I'm not afraid to use it!!!
I've also lucked in to some great Christmas outfits, including the pajamas with frogs in Santa hats I found at Nordstrom. I'm having way too much fun already and they're not even here yet. I am growing every day. It's quite comical at times to see the daily change. We both laugh in amazement at what's going on with my body these days!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Up until this morning, my mindset has been that I will be having twins next year. Well, now next year is this year! I can't believe I'll be a mommy to twin boys this year. Jim and I went out to dinner last night and in conversation he said something to the effect of them being here in 5.5 months. I stopped him and looked at him and held up 4 fingers and said, "FOUR and a half months". We both laughed with excitement of what will happen in an amount of time that will seem like the blink of an eye when it's here.
After that, my BIG boy rode a tube down the huge ice slide at the ballpark in downtown Oklahoma City. He said it was a very fast, bumpy ride! Oh, what fun these boys are going to have with their Daddy! I can't wait!
We wish you all blessings beyond what you could even ask or pray for in 2011. Our God is so, so very good.
